Motherhood Sessions

So they grow up knowing they were held like that.

The magnolias are blooming. Your babies are still small. You are in the middle of something you will want to remember.

This is a portrait session built around you — your presence, your tenderness, your hands holding them.

A record of this season of motherhood, exactly as it is.

  • "Working with Kelli was such a joy. Her laid-back approach made the early morning shoot effortless, and I was blown away by the beautiful images she captured. I knew I’d love the photos, but I was amazed at how artfully she captured our family. These images reflect the love and connection I feel with my children, and I will treasure them forever. "

  • “OH MY GOODNESS!!! I love these images so so so much, Kelli. The movement and blocking and light and observational lens. Truly everything I hoped for and more. Fine art of my family and home. These are so special. Thank you.”

    —Kate Lines

  • “Holy shit, Kelli!!! These are amazing. I've already watched the slideshow twice and am probably going to watch it so many times it's sort of embarrassing. I am so grateful for these.”

    — Rachel Larson Weaver

  • “I LOVE THEM! Your ability to frame a scene and capture light is breathtaking. I will cherish the photos forever. I will refer you to friends near and far. And I'd love to work with you again in the future as well!”

Here's how it works

After booking, you'll fill out a short questionnaire about your family and what you want to remember about this season. Then we'll get on a call to go over locations, timing, and styling — so everything feels right before we ever meet.

After the session, your edited gallery arrives for you to review at home. Choose your favorites, select your print, and I'll have it delivered to your door.

A $325 retainer secures your spot. The remaining balance is due the week of your session.

FAQs

What if my kids have a meltdown?

1

Completely normal and expected.

Children don’t need to behave perfectly for the session to be successful. We move at their pace, keep things relaxed, and build in flexibility so there’s time for breaks if needed.

Some of the best photographs happen in between moments, not during perfectly posed ones.

You don’t need to manage everything. That’s part of my job.

What should we wear?

2

You’ll receive simple guidance after booking, including color suggestions and examples.

The goal is coordination, not matching.
Soft, neutral tones and comfortable clothing photograph beautifully in spring settings and allow the focus to stay on your connection with your children.

You don’t need to overthink it. I’ll make this straightforward.

What do we get after the session?

You’ll receive a curated gallery of fully edited images to review at home and an 11×14 archival print of your choice.

From there, you can:

  • Choose your favorite photographs

  • Download digital files

  • Upgrade to more photos/prints/framed prints.

Everything is delivered clearly and simply, with no complicated steps.

Where do the sessions take place?

4

These sessions can take place in a beautiful, outdoor location with spring flowers or in the comfort of your home. When you book with me, we will have a pre-consult to discuss the best option for you, in this season of your life.

What if the weather is bad?

5

Spring weather can be unpredictable, and we plan for that.

If conditions aren’t suitable — heavy rain, strong wind, or unsafe temperatures — the session will be rescheduled. You won’t lose your spot.

You don’t need to monitor the forecast. I handle those decisions and communicate clearly.

What if someone gets sick?

6

With families, this happens.

If your child wakes up sick, we will reschedule your session.
No stress, no penalty.

The goal is to create a calm, positive experience and not push through when it doesn’t make sense.
